Fuck he’s got to win.
Abdul El-Sayed tells ABC News in new interview that Israel isn’t an ally of the United States: “An ally that takes your money to push you into wars you shouldn't be fighting is not an ally.” “If your kid has a friend who keeps bumming off their money, talks about them behind their back, and gets them into fights with other friends, what would you tell your kid? You’d probably tell them maybe it’s not actually your friend.” Link to interview: abcnews.com/video/137396168/

Yea Acton's mom is clearly not well. The whole story is really sad. But what's disgusting is that @VivekGRamaswamy is taking advantage of it Here's the real story, for anyone interested in reality: vindyarchives.com/news/2019/…
New bombshell in Ohio Governor’s race: Apparently, Amy Acton’s own mother has appeared in an ad urging voters to not vote for her daughter. Can’t say I expected that.

this year’s world series champions will either be a team that’s never won before or the team with the longest active world series title drought… how can you not be romantic about baseball?!

MIL, CLE, & TB are in the post season IN SPITE OF the payroll issues. The front offices of these clubs have learned to work around their stingy owners over the years and have tirelessly built a MiL system & scrappy trades to get where they are today. Cap + floor are still needed
Major League Baseball wants a salary cap and says it's to ensure smaller-market, lower-payroll teams can win in the postseason. Milwaukee, Cleveland and Tampa Bay are winning without one. Free at ESPN, how to reconcile the 2026 postseason and cap talk: espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/5016…

Last night, a woman attended a Trump rally wearing a "Release the Epstein Files" shirt (a core promise of the Trump campaign). A ruckus ensued, and several MAGA men beat her mercilessly. While she was being beaten, Trump mocked her from the stage. Trump is a demonic force on society. I simply cannot think of any other word to describe it.

Remember when an old man Trump supporter heckled Obama and he encouraged the crowd to beat him while they chanted USA and then he insulted the old man's weight before he had police arrested the beaten Trump supporter? Oh wait, my bad.....

Heard of the Savannah Bananas for first time maybe a month ago. Thought it was cute. Then I saw this -- I loved. Digging deeper, this is a true blue entertainment success story. Husband and wife launch baseball team in the stadium left behind by a departing minor league club. Almost nobody buys tickets. They're going broke. So they sell their HOUSE, empty savings, bet everything on one idea: Make baseball more like a show. It worked. Spectacularly so. Forbes values their business at $500 MILLION. They've reportedly been approached with valuations as high as a BILLION. And here they are, husband and wife, dancing at the end. Like the final scene of a fucking movie where they succeeded against all odds. Literally getting goosebumps for them. Like the product or not, what they've accomplished is nothing short of REMARKABLE.

This is super sad because Danny Trejo will do any movie, including student films where he works for free just to get a young filmmakers project off the ground. You have to be the actual devil to take advantage of someone that has that kind of work ethic and love for his craft.
Danny Trejo's son posted this about his father's upcoming movie. It's very sad and eye opening

The deadliest football game in American history ended 0-0. Christmas Eve, 1944. 65 Marines played a pickup game on a field of dirt and coral on Guadalcanal. Six months later, 15 of them were dead. That's the true story this movie is based on, and it's worth knowing before you see it. After Pearl Harbor, college football stars enlisted in huge numbers, and more of them picked the Marines than any other branch. By late 1944 the 4th and 29th Marine Regiments were on Guadalcanal training for the invasion of Okinawa, and between them they had All-Americans, five team captains, and close to 20 guys who were either drafted by or went on to play in the NFL. The game itself started as trash talk over beers. Guys from the 29th said they'd kick the 4th's ass if the two regiments ever played. So on December 24 they actually played, wearing T-shirts and cut-off dungarees with numbers stenciled on the front. Around 1,500 Marines stood around the field watching, and the radio broadcast went out to bases all over the Pacific. Three hours of football, a brawl or two, and nobody scored. Then they shipped out to Okinawa, the bloodiest battle of the Pacific. 82 days of fighting that killed over 240,000 people. The casualty rate in those two regiments went past 50%. Tony Butkovich led the nation in rushing at Purdue in 1943 and went #11 overall in the NFL draft. A sniper killed him that April. He was 24. Dave Schreiner, Wisconsin's two-time All-American, had been the #11 pick the year before. A sniper got him too, one day before the island was declared secure. He was the 15th and last player from the game to die there. No single battle has ever killed more American athletes. Buzz Bissinger spent years researching all 65 of these guys for the book this comes from. He wrote Friday Night Lights, and Peter Berg directed that movie too. Those two have spent 20 years turning football into stories about way more than football, so this one ended up in the right hands.
From Peter Berg, starring Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson, and Tom Francis. THE MOSQUITO BOWL is in theaters October 30. Get tickets now. Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, four of America’s top College Football stars set their fame aside to enlist in the Marines. They’ll play in a legendary game that, for many, will be their last.

I saw this pop up in my feed and thought, “How bad could it possibly be? They’re forced to make a statement on the conditions of the field markings?” Incredible.

Jo Adell has been in Cleveland two months and reps the city like he was born here. Not to mention 8 RBIs in 6 playoff games. I love this guy.
