i hope people misled by 110 promoters aren't disillusioned onto a weaker fork than BSV. that's a sad end, don't do it. come back, learn why it failed: TL;DR you can't force forks without consensus, if you try anyway, you end up with a BSV like fork. and that happened yesterday.

When Team Warren Wins, US Innovation Loses. Early indications are. Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s decision to push the CLARITY Act vote back to September is, in substance, a fold, and it marks a clear win for Elizabeth Warren and the status quo. The progressive left anti innovation team wins again. By allowing yet another delay at the very moment when the US should be locking in a coherent framework for digital assets, the Senate has signalled that preserving incumbent comfort still matters more than securing American leadership in the next monetary architecture. Regulation should have been passed years ago. Instead, Washington chose to live in ambiguity, letting Warren and the bank lobby weaponise uncertainty, the SEC and the Fed went along for the ride, and now Thune is keeping the CLARITY Act stuck in procedural limbo. With Thune’s postponement, it now looks like Team Warren and the status quo have prevailed: the bill drifts, enforcement fills the vacuum where law should be, and the result is that the US will not take a leadership role in crypto. Innovation moves offshore, another own goal by politicians, as the world moves ahead under clearer regimes while America leaves its own innovation stack trapped in a grey zone where the standards of future finance are written elsewhere. In this fight, the Democrats have chosen to be anti‑innovation, defending yesterday’s institutions at the expense of tomorrow’s growth. The level of incompetence required to reach this point, an innovation superpower choosing delay and spite over strategy, is historic. Another own goal.
🇺🇸 JUST IN: Senate Majority Leader John Thune has confirmed the Clarity Act vote is being pushed back to September, according to Politico.

If you use a Coldcard hardware wallet, please pay attention. If you know someone who uses one, call them. Text them. This appears to be one of the most serious wallet security incidents Bitcoin has seen. If you're affected, don't wait. If you need help, reach out.

If you’re using a COLDCARD, any version firmware or MK, migrate your funds immediately. If you know someone who is, let them know ASAP. If an interim wallet is needed, you can use @AquaBitcoin or @Blockstream App until you get a new HWW. Attacks are ongoing so do it quickly.

On the @Strategy Q2 Earnings Call, I asked @saylor if he believes Bitcoin is money, an asset, or digital Manhattan. He gave a very nuanced and thorough explanation that I believe covers the complexity of what Bitcoin is. Worth a listen! 🔥
.@Strategy's marketing is aimed at the 99% of people who will never buy Bitcoin directly. 🟠 @saylor explains who the preferred shares are actually for and why. @Excellion asked the question that drew out that answer on Strategy's Q2 2026 earnings call. 🔥👀

The Clarity Act. Sabotaging America’s Crypto Leadership The old rule still holds: markets are most irrational at the extremes, at the peak of a bull run and in the depths of a bear market. Crypto today is in the latter. But the real irrationality is not in markets, it is in Washington. The battle over the Clarity Act has exposed a striking lack of seriousness among its opponents. This is not a good-faith policy disagreement. It is a political blockade, driven by a refusal to grant President Donald Trump any legislative victory, regardless of the economic cost to the country. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent put it plainly: “standards are strategy.” The countries that define the rules will capture the capital, talent, and innovation. The United States, however, is choosing paralysis. Senator Elizabeth Warren and her allies, backed by Bankers and segments of Democrats on Wall Street, are resisting regulatory clarity not to protect investors, but to protect incumbents. In doing so, they are exporting an entire industry. If the Clarity Act fails, it will join the long list of own goals scored by Washington policymakers against their own economy. Capital is already moving offshore. Talent is already leaving. Innovation will continue whether Team Warren likes it or not. Bitcoin’s fixed supply cannot be legislated away. Fiat currency will continue to be debased. But in a bear market, investors and policymakers too often behave as if these realities can be ignored. They cannot. Blocking The Clarity Act will not stop crypto. It will only ensure that America forfeits leadership in shaping its future.
I've incorporated hundreds of pages of Democrat priorities in the Clarity Act: 33 Dem-driven edits in Title I alone, 23 new illicit finance sections, 30 more CFTC wins, 3 entirely new titles Dems wanted. That's 100+ compromises — yet still not enough for some. "Perfect" stopped being principled months ago. Now it's just an excuse not to legislate. We have to pass the Clarity Act NOW.

Big Bank Beth @SenWarren hates President Trump so much that she’d rather have no rules of the road for the digital asset industry — leaving consumers vulnerable and law enforcement empty-handed — than take the win for consumers. Let’s get the facts straight on her “fact sheet”: 1. She claims the blind trust is a shell game. It’s not. By law (5 U.S.C. §13104(f)(3)(A) and 5 C.F.R. 2634.403), a trustee is barred from disclosing trust holdings back to the official. That’s not a loophole, it’s literally what makes a blind trust blind. Read the law for yourself below. 2. She claims $TRUMP proves the president would create new coins. But $TRUMP launched when President Trump was a private citizen. The ethics ban applies to conduct while serving. You can’t retroactively ban something that happened before the law — or the presidency — existed. That’s how the law in the Soviet Union worked, not America. 3. She acts like Trump’s adult children running WLF is some unprecedented dodge. It’s not. Federal ethics law has never imputed financial interests from adult, independent children — only spouses and minor children. That’s not new to this bill; it’s how conflict-of-interest law has worked for decades. The facts speak for themselves. Don’t fall for Liz’s lies. banking.senate.gov/imo/media…

This bill literally requires President Trump to divest his digital asset holdings or put them in a blind trust. It's becoming painfully clear some of my Democrat colleagues would rather let consumers lose everything if a crypto exchange fails and posture for the midterms than pass market structure legislation with unprecedented ethics standards covering the President, VP, Congress, and the Federal Judiciary.
NEW: As some Democrats negotiate a crypto bill that likely wouldn't force Trump to fully divest his crypto interests, a number of their colleagues voiced concern the talks undermine their midterm messaging railing against Trump's "cryto corruption"

More than a year ago, the House passed the Clarity Act. There’s been progress since — thousands of hours of bipartisan negotiations took place at the staff and Member levels. The Senate Committees on Banking and Agriculture advanced their respective titles. And Senate Republicans produced a floor-ready product that, as I type this, is waiting for a vote. It’s disappointing — but not surprising — that Senate Democrats are choosing politics on the cusp of a major victory for American leadership. Find another instance in history where Congress, when given the choice, opted to push an industry out of the United States rather than smartly regulate it. American Exceptionalism was once a bipartisan goal; if Clarity fails, I have serious doubts. These same Democrats — many of whom have taken millions of dollars from the crypto industry — proclaim that Clarity lacks safeguards for consumers and falls short in countering illicit finance. Nothing could be further from the truth. Titles II and III materially uplift regulatory and compliance obligations for digital asset intermediaries, placing them on similar footing with traditional financial institutions. The Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act — which Washington lobbyists have spun up as a boogeyman for certain groups of prosecutors and law enforcement — does nothing other than codify longstanding Treasury Department policy that’s remained consistent across Administrations: non-custodial builders and developers are not, and have never been, subject to registration obligations under the Bank Secrecy Act. And at this point, major law enforcement trades that once opposed the bill, including the Fraternal Order of Police, have now endorsed it. The Senate needs to vote NOW on this landmark legislation. The truth is that Senate Democrats are afraid to advance the Clarity Act as they fear Senator Warren and the “Anti-Crypto Army” she once promised to build. In the days ahead, Leader Thune will put this theory to the test. Will Senate Democrats be on the side of American Exceptionalism, or will they opt to cede American leadership of a global industry for fear of the bespectacled squirrel’s Left flank? America will lead or America won’t. It’s not more complicated than that. I believe Satoshi once said it best: “If you don’t believe me or don’t get it, I don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry.”

Bitcoin is Freedom I spent the last few weeks in my motherland, Vietnam. The country has transformed since my family escaped in 1978. It is more prosperous, energetic, and ambitious than the Vietnam I left behind. A young population, rising investment, and global aspiration have created extraordinary momentum. And yet one thing remains clear. For many in Vietnam, the ultimate dream is still America. And if they cannot make it to America, they want to wear American brands, eat American food, listen to American music, and exude American confidence. My trip to Vietnam reminded me of this, and the World Cup has made it visible on a global stage. America remains not only a country people admire, but a place people still want to reach, represent, and belong to. The United States remains the land of the free, the Wild Wild West, and the home of the American Dream. Walmart and Waffle House. Boston and Austin. Silicon Valley and Wall Street. A country where people can still rise from welfare to extraordinary success through hard work, ingenuity, risk taking, and some luck. My family experienced that promise directly. We arrived in America as refugees, sponsored by a Catholic church in Syracuse, New York. We received public assistance, food stamps, and free school lunches. My father worked three jobs. We lived frugally and dealt with poverty and racism. America was not easy, but it was open. It gave us a system where effort, education, entrepreneurship, and perseverance could compound. This is America. The world still aspires to be like us. What has made America successful over the last 250 years is not accidental. It is a principled Constitution, geographic scale, abundant resources, and a culture of liberty, capitalism, entrepreneurship, and reinvention. Other nations try to replicate the recipe, but often waver. Interventionism, bureaucracy, corruption, and ego get in the way. Which brings me to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the United States of money. It aspires to do for money what the American Constitution aspired to do for government: create a system governed by transparent rules rather than the discretion of individuals. Built on a principled white paper, digitally enforced scarcity, and proof of work, Bitcoin is digital capital governed by code, energy, and consensus. But beyond that, Bitcoin is hope. It provides hope for those who have worked hard for their money and want to protect it from monetary inflation. It provides hope for those born in countries without reliable rule of law or economic freedoms. It provides hope for anyone seeking protection, opportunity, and a form of property that does not depend on geography, politics, or permission. I was born in the year of America’s bicentennial. Fifty years later, the future of American dominance is being questioned. I have no question. The United States of America is the greatest country in the world. My life is proof of what America makes possible. I left Vietnam as a refugee, grew up poor in America, built a career through education and hard work, and now have a wonderful wife and three children. That is the American Dream to me. It is not just wealth. It is freedom, family, opportunity, and the ability to determine your own future. That is also why Bitcoin resonated with me. I found Bitcoin because it reflected the same principles that shaped my life: clear rules, individual sovereignty, property rights, resilience, open competition, and long-term conviction. America gave my family freedom through a country. Bitcoin offers individuals monetary freedom through a network. One opened the door for me. The other opens a door for anyone, anywhere, to protect the fruits of their labor. That is why Bitcoin is freedom.

The AI buildout is absorbing capital at historic scale, creating temporary pressure across global markets. That does not weaken Bitcoin. It strengthens the case for scarce, liquid, digital capital. Bitcoin remains the premier asset for the long term. $BTC

30-40K is giving me the same vibes as the 10-12K calls last cycle. It became the consensus view, but it never happened. So forgive me if I'm 10% early. I was about 10% early calling the top at 112K $BTC, and that still worked out in the end. A lot of what I do today comes from mistakes I've made in the past. Mistakes that cost me a lot of money, mistakes I have no intention of repeating. A lot of people criticize my trading style. They criticize the gradual TWAP entries. They criticize what they see as an "unreasonable" stop loss. The reality is that most of them simply don't understand the mathematics behind how I trade. I use low leverage. I position myself accordingly and calculate the statistical probability of certain price levels being hit, using leverage as my invalidation point. I'm not a gambler, I'm a compounder. I'm here to make money. I don't care about quick gains, and I don't care about the reckless trading people engage in for clicks and attention. I try to position myself the same way institutions and hedge funds do. Slowly, gradually, with low leverage, and only when the RR is significantly in my favour. I think a lot of people underestimate how much wealth can be built through compounding over a long period of time because they're constantly chasing fast gains. The reality is that wealth is built over years, not weeks. The longer you stay in the game, the more disciplined and patient you are, the more money tends to follow. It's easy to develop a distorted perception of trading with the amount of crap you see on this app. People posting outrageous gains, bragging, and chasing engagement. But they'll never show you the losses. If that temporary ego boost gives you satisfaction, great. For me, not so much. So, simply put, I'm here to make money, whether it's fast or slow. If you don't like my passive approach, I couldn't care less. This is how the biggest players in the world operate. You can either position alongside them or against them. I choose to play with them.

Four ideologies shape the Bitcoin community. Maximalists bring conviction. Capitalists bring integration. Technologists bring innovation. Fundamentalists bring preservation. Bitcoin reaches its full potential when these four forces work in harmony.
