When Brian Beasley said yes to a vision trip, he didn’t expect it would lead to planting Growing Faith Church in Liberty, N.C. But God was writing a bigger story — one that reshaped a church's vision for multiplication. #OnMissionTogether

I'm excited to have the opportunity to preach a multi-week series titled "What's So Good About the Good News?" starting this Wednesday at 6:30pm at Pleasant Garden Baptist. Take a break from scrolling through all the bad news and join us in the Fellowship Hall this Wed. night!
My youngest graduates from high school today. It’s been an educational journey for both of us.

He has had a tremendous impact on my thinking in just the past two years as I consider what is next for me. Read "Center Church" last fall and thought it was so full of wisdom and Jesus, especially in how the gospel relates to our culture. Thank you to a faithful Christian.
Final thought for tonight: I am so glad I am not leading worship tomorrow. I might have yelled a little bit during this game.

I publicly take back all the bad things I said about Caleb. That three he hit at the end of the game is on par with Michael’s shot to win the national championship. What. A. Game.
Just over 24 hours to the Armageddon Apocalypse. This video sums up how I feel.

Monday thoughts as Armageddon approaches: (1) the pressure is 100% on dook so if we can keep it close we should win; (2) getting in any kind of foul trouble will be disastrous; (3) I’m honestly going to be hard to live with if UNC wins.
This week I will be oscillating between two thoughts every second: (1) it’s highly likely that dook will beat UNC and (2) how sweet it would be if UNC gave K a loss in his last game ever. Just back and forth constantly in my brain.
God called an audible in my worship set this am. We planned to sing 2 verses of Holy, Holy, Holy with keys. Had a computer issue that meant keys were silent so we were forced to sing it acapella. Made it more meaningful.
