Given Twitter's current, batshit management is dedicated to actively making things worse for trans people on the site (in addition to generally driving the place into the ground) we no longer feel comfortable (or even especially safe) posting here.
Hey, as everyone prepares/cheers for the end of the bird site, I (encoder) just wanted to say it's been great knowing people were interested in what we work on and in general been really helpful pointing us at interesting RAWs or letting us know about errors or stuff to reupload.
finding the actual circumstances bringing about the end of the site _incredibly funny_, but loss of communities sucks whenever it happens

Moved our Mastodon to indiepocalypse.social/@berek… because mastodon.social is currently overloaded with new users due to this site being bought out by a facist-enabling weirdo and so it's running slow every time something bad happens to twitter.
FYI, while we're not currently planning to stop putting up release posts here, given the site is extremely on fire due to being bought out by the world's thinnest skinned billionaire, we started up a Cohost account to mirror release posts on: cohost.org/bereke-scrubs
Not sure what else we'll use the Cohost for long-term, likely move the lengthy technical rants there and link them on Mastodon/Twitter.

floridamanscrubs.wordpress.c… - Florida Scrubs just put out Mirrorman Reflex, which is... weird. It's some peak early 00's Toku grimness. Helped (encoder) edit the subs for episodes 2 and 3, but Florida put in the _vast_ majority of the work on this one.

Helped them out some with an edit pass and some technical assistance by our encoder/timer, but their work's great, check it out! :)
also having to look at our old scripts again to assist: wow, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing with Aegisub at the time lol
