Jerry/Justin/Dan intentionally kept giving Ref and Garver critical AB’s and playing time which quite literally cost this team games, all on the hope they could save money by trading their contracts vs. DFA’ing them and putting the best players on the field

Can you imagine what the Brewers could do with a comparable budget and dealing prospects had no real long term consequences?
There’s zero reason the @mariners should be buyers at the deadline. They’ve clearly given up already and if tanking increases the odds Dan is gone next year then so be it.

The biggest storyline for the Mariners this season, to me, is clear at this point: how far does loyalty and respect go, and how much will they allow that to get in the way of ultimately fielding the best team possible? And, most importantly, what decisions will ownership actually be open to signing off on?
Honest question… why would anyone start a RHP against the @Mariners? If you have so much as a AAAA grade LHP just make the call and this team will puke all over themselves
