They rigged the vote across Illinois. We're rising up anyway.
No AIPAC. No corporate PACs. Just us.
Our campaign runs on people, not billionaires, and we need 1,000 grassroots donations to get in full swing.

Working parents fighting for our kids human right to a fully funded edu is a "violent threat" to the Gov? Billionaires will stop tolerating poverty and violence for our babies. It was my home that was bombed, not his. We are the ones with the skin in this fight. @GovPritzker

You really hear Karen's authentic voice come through in this memoir.
The Chicago Teachers Union wasnât always the progressive power it is today. This exclusive excerpt from Karen Lewisâs posthumous new memoir recounts the radical shift the group took in the early 2010s, when it began to exert itself beyond the classroom. l8r.it/rod4

BREAKING: Indigenous activist Leonard Peltier is released from prison after nearly 50 years.
For decades, Peltier, who is 80 years old, has maintained his innocence over the 1975 killing of two FBI agents in a shootout on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
Last month President Joseph Biden commuted Peltier's life sentence to serve the remainder of his time under house arrest.

If Republicans want to shut down the Department of Education, bring a bill to the floor. Show your constituents that you want to destroy public education. Don't make an unelected billionaire do it illegally because you're too afraid of being on record.

From 1619 to 1865, the US benefited from over 222 million hours of unpaid, dehumanizing, forced labor by enslaved black people per scholars. This labor- primarily the production of tobacco, rice, sugar, and cotton- would be valued at over $97 trillion today. Built off the backs.

Billionaires are seizing control of our government, agency by agency. Elon Musk, the richest man on the planet, is now calling the shots and Republicans are blocking our efforts to hold him accountable. This is oligarchy.

This is outrageous. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureauâs rule to ban medical debt from credit reports would have removed $49 billion in medical debt and helped nearly 15 million Americans. The Trump Admin is once again siding with the rich and powerful over working people.
