At @BRCADIRECT participants submitted a sample for #GeneticTesting by simply providing a saliva sample at home and posting it to our lab. Our diagnostic laboratory then analysed the sample for gene faults in #BRCA1, #BRCA2, and #PALB2
The BRCA-DIRECT team at the @ICR_London are working with @NHSEngland @NWGLH @NorthThamesGLH @royalmarsdenNHS and @ChaiCancerCare to offer BRCA-testing to the Jewish community in England, with the programme due to launch end of January 2023 #genetictesting #BRCA1 #BRCA2

The final few participants are now making their way through the @BrcaDirect pathway. Recruitment to the @BrcaDirect study was completed in August 2022, giving 1140 women with #breastcancer the opportunity to access #genetictesting.
