According to the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 11000 block of Hickory Creek Drive around 1:30pm. Authorities say the suspect shot and injured a deputy. The suspect died in the officer-involved shooting. The deputy's name and condition have not been released.
