A cabin compound built into the hillside.
Stone walls. Steel roof. Floor-to-ceiling glass facing the trees.
A hidden plunge pool cut into the stone. An outdoor kitchen under a pergola. A fire pit tucked among the rocks.
Stone steps lead down to a creek running right past the property.
This is the kind of place people spend a lifetime building toward.

17 year-old Joey cooks for his family of five every night. His mother had been ill for a very long time and so he took over cooking duties while his father worked 12 to 13 hours a day. Sadly, his mother passed away on August 7.
He’s a remarkable young man and his goal is to one day go to school for a culinary arts. ❤️

“I’ve been in South Carolina for, I don’t know, six days, had Cookout. I’m never leaving. I don’t know why anyone would go to Michigan.”

A father created a handmade cardboard football pitch to give his 9-year-old blind son a tactile way to experience football through touch and sound. His joyful reaction to the goal says it all.

Tillamook County Creamery Association generates over $1.2B a year in sales while remaining owned by roughly 80 to 110 dairy farming families in Oregon.
Founded in 1909, the cooperative has never sold to a private equity firm, with profits returned directly to its farmer-owners.
This stands in stark contrast to the wave of private equity acquisitions sweeping through the food.
I only buy Tillamook cheese and ice cream… great company.
