Drake Maye says he used to play Rocket League until 1 a.m., but getting married moved him to the 8 p.m. tournament
“For college, I was 12:30. I played Rocket League. There’s a tournament every night at 12:00 a.m. Me and my brother and one of my buddies would play. We’d play till 12:30, one o’clock.”
“Every night, and I’d sleep five or six hours and get up and go to football. So, yeah, it wasn’t a great habit in college, but it was just what our generation and what I got used to. So then got married, and now we play the tournament at 8:00, and now I’m done by 9.”
Take a scroll if you want to see how all the virtue signaling gamers feel about AI.
What's hilarious about this is Steam is surely using AI to develop their software as well.
In fact If you hate AI so much, sell your computer, your consoles, and your smart phones because nearly every single piece of software you use is being built with the assistance of an LLM to some degree.
The only difference between Epic and Steam is that @TimSweeneyEpic had the balls to say the quiet part out loud.
Get over yourself.
We vibe coded the Epic Games Launcher to be faster than the other guy.

i need someone that has passion for YT, i have so many damn ideas but i really need help executing.
momo is too lazy, so LMK if you're competent enough to know how to execute stuff. if you don't - just have the passion and I swear you'll get a 100K plaque by the end of the year
most talent agencies within gaming are unfathomably incompetent.
can name 3-5 right now, but players are too lazy to fix an issue that is costing them a good rep.
same goes with "agents"
There is a growing list of gaming agencies that we won't even attempt to do business with anymore at Neuroptima b/c they are so incompetent.
A lot of players are missing out on sponsorship opportunities because we turn away the instant we see a certain email/agency in their bio.
You get on a call with these people, and they waste your time, don't follow up like they say they will, and DON'T EVEN KNOW BASIC PUBLIC INFO ABOUT THE PERSON THEY REPRESENT!! They do this on a call for one person they represent, and now they've created a bad name that hurts EVERYONE else they represent.
Players, choose wisely before you sign – see if the agency is actually sourcing sponsors for its talent. See the rate at which their talent gets signed/re-signed to orgs. And never just go with the first option you chat to because they sell themselves well; always compare options ‼️

I think Epic needs to look into redoing how people qualify to LANs because keeping everyone's options open throughout the year for teammates would be very beneficial for the health of the game.
1. it has to be a joke / prank
2. at least we got east
3. crash out under announcement tweets
4. get sad and take a break
5. accept it
