Tomorrow, September 9th, our community will come together for a special 24-hour online fundraiser called San Diego Gives. BLCI is thrilled to take part in this local day of giving. Can you help us reach our $10,000 goal? Visit sandiegogives.org/BLCI today!
Tomorrow, we recognize the 156th anniversary of Juneteenth. Juneteenth serves as a celebration and honor of Black American life and resilience. The battle towards racial equality continues, and Juneteenth reminds us that real change, though frustrating and painful, is possible.
Join us next Wednesday, May 26th for a mental health and wellness panel with the San Diego Latino Health Coalition!

Graduating is a big achievement no matter what, but with all that the Class of 2020 has dealt with to get across the finish line, I think they’ve earned a little celebration. I hope you’ll all join me in honoring them at 2PM ET and 8PM ET.
