The flashy option is to call up Bystedt and have him play 3C.
But...with Misa still finding his footing, I don't think the staff is confident enough to trot out 2 inexperienced centers. I this might be a Giles call-up and Gaudette/Dellandrea in the lineup for a while #SJSharks

Quenneville likes to โlevel the linesโ and spread scoring across all 4. That works when you have enough talent. Right now, ANA has bottom-6 players in the top 6, and itโs dragging down their stars.
Go top-heavy. Let the bottom six shut down, check, and chew clock. #FlyTogether
Ducks trail 2-0 after one period in New Jersey. After leading after the first in their first 7 games of the season, Anaheim has trailed after one in all 3 games of the road trip.
Shots on Goal: 11-1 Devils. Shot attempts: 15-11 Devils. Blocked shots: 6-1 Devils.
#FlyTogether
The Sharks have now gone three straight games with someone scoring against their former organization. Marchment vs. Toronto Toffoli vs. Montreal Ostapchuk vs. Ottawa
@StubbyMuffin I tried being vague with "4th liner goal" should've went for it ๐
With the way the #SJSharks have been hemmed in the whole 3rd period, can the Stenberg-Misa-Sherwood line do the one thing they're good at: creating a rush chance?
5 PP goals in the last 4 games ever since Orlov/Trouba were tasked with running QB, btw.
The entries havenโt been clean, and it feels more despite them than because of them, but itโs still a pretty funny stat. #TurnItAllTeal
#SJSharks power play groups...
PP1: Orlov-Stenberg-Celebrini-Smith-Marchment
PP2: Trouba-Chernyshov-Marchment-Toffoli-Misa
Shorthanded point! #TurnItAllTeal
Dellandrea with the huge effort and Graf with a shortie and itโs 3-1 #sjsharks

If I was a GM I would phone the smart GMs and say, "which of my players interest you in a trade." And then, once they answered, I would never trade those players
Ranking my concerns with the #SJSharks lineup since I've posted about all 3.
1. Stenberg/Misa/Sherwood still being together
[BIG GAP]
2. Gaudette not playing
[Medium-sized gap]
3. Dellandrea in the lineup
I have no issues with Goodrow in the lineup. He looks...improved.
Sharkstwt has backed that 2nd line for a while, but analytics say theyโre not good outside of the occasional rush. Graf isnโt really a setup guy for Toff and Mush, and the 4th line is a hard watch since Kief got promoted. Expecting to see some blends, and rightfully so. #SJSharks
Per @MoneyPuckdotcom, the Misa line is getting so badly outchanced itโs been worse than two 4th lines. Goody-Chucky-Delly isnโt even the worst line theyโve used; another Misa line is.
4th lines are at the bottom to check and kill time. Misa's lines should be playing good hockey.
Iโm more puzzled by the middle-six wingers staying intact than the fourth line having Goody/Delly. With Wennberg out, I think a Graf-Gaudette combo could work well defensively. Gaudette is one of the Sharksโ best forwards at takeaways, blocks, and suppressing chances. #SJSharks
The Anaheim Ducks face Nico Daws today, who, in a limited sample, has had the lowest puck-freeze rate among goalies whoโve played since 2025. Could be plenty of second-chance opportunities if they get bodies to the net. #FlyTogether
Nico Daws first off the ice. Expect him to get the start for #NJDevils tonight against Anaheim.
Remembering how immaculate those Aaron Dell pads were... #SJSharks
Both Florida teams LOVE their tall goalies..
#FLAPanthers:
- Jacob Markstrom: 6'6"
- Akira Schmid: 6'5"
- Cooper Black: 6'8"
#GoBolts:
- Andrei Vasilevskiy: 6'4"
- Dennis Hildeby: 6'6"
- Mads Sogaard: 6'7"
Samuel Ersson is the likely starter the #SJSharks face today. I've expressed my opinions on the Sens goaltending depth behind Ullmark a few times. Honestly, just shoot the puck.

Ducks have been held to 2 goals for four straight. Thatโs an issue for a team built to outscore its flaws. Terry and Poehling are out, but the โgood duo + fourth linerโ top-six experiment should end. McQueen & Klepov have enough skill and upside to get a look there. #FlyTogether
Judd Caulfield has returned home for the birth of his child. Here's who we fly with.

Warsofsky clearly loves a 4th line where all three guys are big, physical, and hit everything that moves. Thatโs probably why Gaudette hasnโt played and wonโt until the middle-6 changes.
Not sure I agree. Goodrow-Ostapchuk-Gaudette was actually pretty decent last year. #SJSharks
