Impossible to overstate how dominant Southern Miss was. 28 points. Houston's season low, and their final TD came with just 3 seconds left. Houston averaged 51 in its other 13 games. 2 INTs. Keenum threw just 3 in his other 13 games. 61.2% completions. A season low. He completed 72.2% in his other 13 games. 5.6 Y/A. A season low. He averaged 9.8 in his other 13 games. 111.8 passer rating. A season low. He averaged 181.8 (!!) in his other 13 games. 4.82 AY/A. A season low. He averaged 11.27 in his other 13 games. 7 punts. Houston averaged 3.4 in its other 13 games. 428 total yards. A season low. Houston averaged 612 in its other 13 games. 1.8 yards per carry. A season low. Houston averaged 5.2 in its other 13 games. Before the game, Keenum was a top-five Heisman candidate, and Houston was bound for the BCS. After the game, Keenum didn't get an invite to New York, and Houston played in the TicketCity Bowl. USM scored on offense, special teams, and defense. One of the greatest overall performances I've seen live.
