We will never forget the ultimate sacrifice of my dear sis, Investigator Farrah Turner … #FlyFarrahFly
That’s our Sheriff 💪
Sheriff Leon Lott observed a stalled vehicle at the intersection of Killian Rd and Longreen Pkwy early Thursday morning. Together with two other deputies, Sheriff Lott assisted the driver and cleared the roadway.

As we honor and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., let us take the time to reflect on his revolutionary impact on the Civil Rights Movement. Dr. King paved the way for many by being a God fearing man and an advocate for change. Here’s a special tribute to his life & legacy.

Through struggle and discipline, persistence and faith, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. helped move this country forward. As we honor his legacy today, let’s remember the lesson he taught us: that even in the face of impossible odds, people who love this country can help change it. In honor of #MLKDay, I hope you’ll do what you can in your community to create a better future for us all.

I’m grateful for your life.
I’m honored by your legacy.
I’m growing in your teachings.
May our commemoration move beyond quoting you (often in ways that are intentionally misaligned with your principles and steps of nonviolence) to hopeful, strategic, mass nonviolent action.
Thank you, Daddy.
