Trump engaged in a thoughtful, extended conversation with—nothingness. He suddenly stopped, waved, saluted, offered greetings, and chatted for a bit with the empty space. 😁🤭 The cameraman deliberately zoomed out to show that there was absolutely no one to be seen for hundreds of meters in any direction. I don’t think Putin is threatening Trump. He knows he just has to sprinkle flattery intermittently over Trump and Trump laps it up like a dog. I am sure Kim Jong-un did not think his flattering letter would get him years of my mileage like it has. Trump seems to adore Putin.

It’s been reported that the US has told Zelenskyy to stop striking Russia’s oil refineries, or the US will shut down its intelligence sharing with Ukraine. There you have it folks. The US is now formally aligned with Russia. Whatever Putin has on Trump must be unimaginable.

I oppose the death penalty, but I didn't always feel that way. I understand the people who support it - because I once was one of them. But either way, the death penalty staged as a public spectacle is an abomination and stains us all.
