Barrhaven & Area Empties

It’s been awhile but we are still here earning over $10k in 2025. Thank you on behalf of all the furry friends we helped. I’m away till Easter but team is still working.

As we get to the day that many spend time with loved ones, we have to remember those not as lucky. To the animals abandoned, to the rescuers work hard to save. Let’s hope more smiles are seen above tears.

Together we raised $1000 in June for 1/2 year total of $5440.00. We have managed to send 17 rescues /animal resource groups some help. Thank you to all who continue to help.

Not just the end of a month, but 1/2 of the year is gone! Will do a tally and show how many rescues were helped, with your support. Happy Canada Day to everyone, please stay safe. Keep pets safe if fireworks are near. Lock windows, doors, gates and give a hiding spot if needed

May finished and we were able to send 5 rescue/resource groups money. Thank you to all who made it possible.

Another month coming to an end soon. Quieter but still busy and catching up from being away. Every bit helps.

End of April - Yahoo!!! Thanks to all who helped and donated while I was away, and to all those who kept me busy when I got home. Many rescues will receive money thanks to you.

Thank you for all the drop offs and arranging pick ups before I leave on vacation. Thanks to Charles, I recognized your writing. My son and team members will take good care till I’m back. Stay warm

Can you believe we are in the last month of the year. What a year it has been. Looking forward to finishing up big!

The summer is coming to an end. If you are cleaning cottage, trailer or garage of summer empties, please consider donating to help rescues.

Can you believe it, July is almost over. It’s been a busy month again for rescues, adoptions still down. Intakes closed, no room, fosters needed, vet bills need to be paid. We have helped with some cash, food, supplies and more kitten milk bought. Thanks for continued support

Happy Canada Day to you all. Just wanted to share the month of June we raised over $1300 and for the first half of 2024 over $7k!!! Thank you to all who have supported this cause of helping local rescues and animal pet food bank and spay/neuter incentives. You do help!

Last week of June coming!!!! Keep those donations coming.

Keep care during this heat wave. Don’t leave dogs in cars, leave them home. If the pavement is hot to your hand touch, don’t let your dog burn their paws. Keep water out for the birds and wildlife.

Spring cleaning your garage, empties piled up, want to help rescues please reach out to one and donate.

February has been a quiet month so far, but we were still able to send 2 rescues $200 and buy three bags food. Sunday I leave on vacation - my son taking care of everything.
