One of the most ferocious, violent, relentless, fearless, selfless young men to ever play in our defensive system. He overcame life threatening illnesses. Lost 60 pounds. Recovered and dominated. Played through more pain than anyone that’s been through here. We watched him obliterate 330 pound pulling lineman. Knock out running backs. Cover supposed “5 star” kids and shut them out. And we carried him off the field multiple times. Watched him have emotional breakdowns over not being able to be out there with his brothers. Watched him crank his GPA up to college level. Watched him take responsibility for his actions and be accountable. Most blame everyone else. Not Tyson. Man stuff. Now he’s a student college athlete. Tyson Woods will never be forgotten here.
