North Catholic grad Sam Breen went off in her NCAA Tournament debut today. Scored 31 points, including this half-court buzzer beater, but UMass fell to Notre Dame, 89-78. Those 31 points are tied for second most among all women's players in the first round. #WPIAL
Breen hits a half court shot right before the buzzer to bring UMASS within 8 at the half ‼️

Just sayin' again. First, Josh Shoop leaves Pine-Richland AD job to be Plum AD.
Then, Sean Simmons leaves Pine AD job for Shady Side Academy AD.
Now, Tom Salopek leaves AD job after only few months to N. Allegheny as asst. principal.
New AD will be fourth at Pine since 2018.

Just sayin'. Tom Salopek was asst. principal at Pine-Richland and 1 of leaders of investigation that led to ouster of Eric Kasperowicz as football coach.
After Salopek recommended that Kasperowicz not be retained, he was made AD. He's gone. Named asst. principal tonight at NA.

Eric Kasperowicz re-applying for job at Pine-Richland isn't "new" news.
But this is: One WPIAL coach/AD who is a rep of the state coaches association, sent email to every Pa. coach asking them not to apply for P-R job, in a show of support:
