Zaire Franklin at a packed Green Bay Boys and Girls Club kicking off his literacy initiative: “I just remember when I was young and I was your age, just how much I looked up to the football team in town and how much I always just wanted to come hang out with 'em. Just being able to come share some food with you guys, take pictures, answer whatever questions you got no matter how crazy and just kind of show you guys that dreams are possible. I know you guys see Lambeau and you watch the games on TV and sometimes it seems like a Green Bay Packer, it's not a real person, it's somebody else. I'm just here to tell you that we all normal people and we all started just like you guys.”
This summer, our camp members dove into the world of science through experiments and STEAM-based lessons, brought to us through The Franklin Institute. These lessons helped bring an invaluable love of learning and science to our members that will last a lifetime!
