Last week, BFIRST Chair, Naveen Cavale together with @BAPRASvoice President, Mani Ragbir spoke at the Caribbean College of Surgeons Meeting in Belize, as a start to building BFIRST partnerships in the Caribbean. This trip is part of the BFIRST scoping visit to Guyana and Belize.

As a result of this trip, the Caribbean College will now have a 'Reconstructive Surgery Chapter' which will pave the way for #plasticsurgery #training in the region. They have also created links with Belize's largest hospital-KHMC, where BFIRST hopes to support future projects.

While visiting Guyana, they have met with the CEO of the Georgetown Public Hospital as well as Dr Shilo Rajkumar and Dr Navin Rambaran from the Burns and Plastics Department.
