@DeptAgNews @senbmckenzie the dept of agriculture grain imports advice on website as not been updated since the 26th of August. Currently says 14 applications and 6 approvals. Please advise why the consistent updates have stopped. Is it sinister, like last time..?🤷🏼♂️@Sally_Mallee
This absolves the grower paying for costs of breech, but does it also absolve manildra of in country costs or reduce responsibility? @GrainProducers1
@Sally_Mallee comments are based on the premise that there is not enough high protein wheat available in the country! I’m sure that’s what the analysis presented to government said, but @cbhgroup have confirmed multiple times that there is. @AEGIC #dodgy

further explain how a director of the Australian EXPORT grains innovation centre, a grower funded company with the purpose of increasing value in the Australian grains industry, has no conflict lobbying to import grains? graincentral.com/news/two-mo…
@D_LittleproudMP @fitzhunter hearing reliably that there is a second wheat vessel already loading in Canada for import to Australia...?. First vessel loaded and on the way!
THERE IS ONLY 1 IMPORT PERMIT APPROVED
@grheard @KathSully this needs serious attention
@HoskingBrett @GrainGrowersLtd I suppose they will just announce another permit just before it departs, like the first vessel
They are probably hurrying to load it before the liberals and nationals are turfed out on Saturday
How’s this news hound! 3 or 4 days ago we were swimming in wheat stocks, now he’s reporting on imports 🤦🏻♂️ @StefanGrainMan @D_LittleproudMP @fitzhunter @dburner996
