Well the lead was too slender as KN came out on top in the 2nd leg and won 5 1/2 - 2 1/2 on aggregate. Good luck @KingsNorton_GC in the next round. Next up is the Davenports Salver which is being played at Bloxwich Golf Club on 20th September. #beauaywe 👊

We made it through to the Lewis Trophy and in the first round we have been drawn against @KingsNorton_GC who finished 4th in their zone. Home leg is today with the return at KN on 29th July. Our pro Oli Dix was the assistant pro at KN before joining Beau. #BeauAYWe 👊🏼

So today’s see our final fixture of the season at home to @dudleygolfclub still with a chance of making one of the knockout comps. The match clashes with England v DR Congo so thanks to everyone who’s put down to play - good luck our lads at Beau and in Atlanta #BeauAyWe

So on the hottest day of the year so far the hottest fixture takes place as 6th plays 5th 🔥 The outcome of the match could decide the fate of the wooden spoon so everything is to play for. With temperatures as they are it is definitely a match for cool heads. #BeauAyWe

Our final group away fixture as we visit unbeaten table toppers @PennGolfClub1 The league table doesn't look good for us at the moment but we can still make the play off positions with a strong finish over the next couple of weeks Good luck guys #BeauAYWe

It's a basement battle today at Beau as @blox_gc visit as we look to extend our unbeaten run at home. All teams can still make the play off's so a win for either team could be pivotal. With the wet weather the thick rough will no doubt play a part in the result. #BeauAYWe

Following last weeks defeat at Dudley GC we're back on the road visiting table toppers @SouthStaffsgc Last night's rain will lengthen the 6587 yard course and with further forecast the match could play into the hands of the longer hitters. Play well #BeauAyWe

It’s what’s proving to be an exciting season where no one team is running away with it we go to @dudleygolfclub this afternoon who we are level on points with. Always a tough venue but we look forward to the challenge #BeauAyWe

Following last week's draw today we go to @oxleyparkgolf who like us are also looking for their 1st win of the season so a big 4 pointer. A win today would catapult us above lasts years WMGL runners up Bloxwich #BeauAyWe

Today we make the short journey to @BloxwichGC for match 2 of this seasons West Mids Golf League. After a shock defeat last week for Bloxwich they will no doubt be up for the challenge. Dudley & Penn both got their seasons up and running with home wins last week #BeauAyWe

The match didn’t go the way we had planned and Bloxwich ran out 4-0 winners but we go again next week at home to @PennGolfClub1 #BeauAyWe

After a hard fought match with 2 games decided on the 18th green, honours were even 2-2. Well played everyone, next up @BloxwichGC away on Thursday 7th May

A familiar theme as the round draws to a close. A split fairway. Like the 15th, the 17th demands real thought from the tee. A drive up the right opens the best angle into the green, but only if you’re willing to flirt with the grass bunker.

Short walks, undulating greens, and tall pines. All part of the peaceful heathland setting that makes winter golf at here so special.
