Something I do as a scout and a great word of advice that I heard from a college coach over the weekend is to "evaluate the court first." Who is defending this prospect, who is she defending, who is she playing with, who is she playing against, what defense is being used by the opponent, what competition level and makeup is the opponent, is she playing in the role she's being recruited to play in college and in a role that magnifies her strengths, or not. Evaluate the court first and that will inform your perspective of what happens next.
