As members of @BCTGA we comply with a code of practice that means our #ChristmasTrees are grown in an #environmentally #sustainable way. Our aim is to grow quality #British trees, which, with appropriate care, will survive to the end of the festivities and still look good.

We had the most fantastic time yesterday choosing and cutting down the tree - a 20 ft Nordmann Fir - for @10DowningStreet . It was a special day for all of us as this is the first time a tree grower from the North of England has had this privilege @BCTGA #championtreegrower #xmas

We’re busy on the plantation snapping off any unwanted new growth on our #ChristmasTrees to improve their shape. We do this on around 25,000 #trees each year!🎄

Nick is out pruning the #ChristmasTrees and making the most of it now that it’s not raining. He has also just seen his first #RedKite glide over Middle Hill, probably a young from last year looking for territory and a mate – bit.ly/2WntInx.
