Early morning, big goals! Last week, @BCSDCrestview 4th and 5th graders started their day earlier than usual, all in the name of practice! On October 13th, students from across the district will compete in the first-ever MLB Players STEM League event. Created by Learn Fresh—the organization that pioneered NBA Math Hoops—this innovative educational program uses baseball-themed activities and competition to help students strengthen math and STEM skills while developing collaboration, sportsmanship, and confidence. #BrunswickPRIDE #JourneyOfABlueDevil

On Friday, Crestview students kicked off their first house meeting of the school year. Each house includes students from all grades. Students stay in the same house throughout their time at Crestview. This meeting focused on getting to know new members and having fun with team-building activities. It was a great way for students to make connections, and these bonds are more than just friendships. They help create a friendly atmosphere where everyone can learn and grow together. In the end, this creates a stronger sense of community, improves interactions between students and teachers, and gives students a bigger voice and role in leadership. #BrunswickPRIDE #JourneyOfABlueDevil

A huge congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners — you spelled your way straight to the top! 🏆
And to every participant, whether you made it through one round or all of them, you showed up, you competed, and you made us proud!
What a day to remember! Yesterday's Field Day was filled with friendly competition, big smiles, and even bigger laughs. Our students showed us that the best games are always better when you play them together.

These students consistently demonstrated strong character, teamwork, and effort — and it has been a joy to watch them grow as athletes and as leaders.
Special thanks to Mr. Smith for bringing this opportunity to our students and for championing healthy habits in our school community.
