Thread: Recently, BCHS welcomed health systems from across the region for an Indigenous Health Gathering “Strengthening the Canoe". Participants learned about “Two Row Medicine” from Dr. Karen Hill and heard powerful stories from Mohawk Institute Residential School survivors.
It was a day of sharing cultures, practices & understanding all in the name a more responsive, respectful, and inclusive healthcare journey for Indigenous patients.
BCHS is deeply grateful to everyone who attended the launch of our new strategic plan: Leading Beyond Care. This bold vision marks a significant step forward in how we serve our community.

This milestone reflects years of hard work, collaboration, and advocacy from across our teams, Board of Directors, and community members and partners.
Together, we are building a healthier future.
