Haf at halftime after telling the team to run the ball and hit the quarterback, probably

Tech keeps running until the end. 22-48 is the final score at Alumni. Shout out to all my sickos who stayed in the building. It's been a unique pleasure covering this interesting football program over the last few years. Over and out. #ForBoston

In the exact same tone as my previous post/Tweet/X, BC obviously couldn't do anything with the ball and had to punt, and obviously it was muffed and obviously BC recovered. Love it, but we don't care. Still 15-48. At least the trees look nice today. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

I'm back to react to this game's most recent oddity: Grant Wells broke away for a 60 yard rush before Victor Nelson Jr. knocked the ball loose. It tumbled into the endzone and out of bounds, resulting in a touchback. Love it, but unimporant. Carry on. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

As if we didn't already know, Virginia Tech has dominated Boston College. Malachi Thomas just ran 35 yards through the BC defense for a touchdown. It's 15-45 with 14:53 on the clock. I might stop now. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

The Hokies easily handle the onside kick and take over at the BC 49. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

The Eagles stop the bleeding with a passing touchdown on a corner route by Jaedn Skeete. It was 4th and 5. Naturally, we go for two, and Bond scores it. 15-38 with 2:52 in the third. By my count, we need at least three scores (a lot). #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Virginia Tech is playing solid football today. A healthy balance of deep balls, hard-nosed runs, and creative scrambling have carried them all the way to a commanding 7-38 lead after the four-yard rushing score from Tuten, giving him the hat trick. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Hit 33, I says! He can run! Don't let him! Hokies are moving every which way to start the second half. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

We are through half one versus the Hokies and I don't even wanna talk about it. We'll resume at some point, I guess. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Castellanos is slangin'... but three straight misses leads to fourth down. Who would've thought? The half is coming to a close, as is my hope for the future. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Oh look, our punt unit! Fun. Tech takes over at their 17. Can they put this game to bed before the half? They have 3:47. They're still up 7-24. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Another easy score. The tailback swung out and walked into the endzone for the air TD from five yards out. That was Jaylin Lane. What even the heck is happening anymore? 7-24 the other guys. 7:04 in in the second. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Holy guacamole. Our defense just lost Tuten as he broke out for a ruten-Tuten 59-yard run. Hokies in the red zone. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Guys, the Hokie is dancing on the sideline. I'm a senior. This is my last game. You're making me sad. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Yes, things could be worse, as Tech took the punt to the house. But BC caught a break, as a block in the back on the return backs the Hokies up to their 25. Still 7-17 VT with 8:54 in the half. Massive break for the Eagles. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Sloppy Jeff? Hafley's squad erases a first down run by Castellanos with a holding call, followed by a delay of game that leads to a 3rd and 21. Predictably, they couldn't convert. Punt squad gets the call on 4th and 12. Could it be worse?... #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

We are concerned here on the Hill. Virginia Tech just threw us all for a loop with a 22-yard touchdown score through the air to Stephen Gosnell. It didn't even look that hard. #Yoikz. 13:07 left to play in the half. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Well this is super goofy! A squib kick or an onside kick (whatever one wishes to call it) was just successfully executed by Virginia Tech immediately after their TD drive. Unexpected! They take over at their 49. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

A methodical 6:14-long Virginia Tech drive is capped by a seven yard rushing score. Bhayshul Tuten was virtually untouched on his way to the end zone. 7-10 VT with 1:28 left in the first. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech

Oh goodness gracious me. Castellanos is picked off again, this time on a deep pass to Tomlin. VT is only taking what we give them. #BostonCollege #VirginiaTech
