Talarico: "We just found out that [Elon Musk] is almost single-handedly bankrolling this effort to install Ken Paxton in the U.S. Senate and defeat this movement...Elon Musk wants our land. He wants our water. He wants his very own personal United States senator. He is trying to buy Texas."

We never communicate what we will do next in our operations. Last night, we did not attack any energy facilities on the territory of Russia because President Trump said that there would be an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia. We did not attack, while Russia attacked our gas stations, energy infrastructure, and other facilities.
I think it was Putin’s answer to President Trump. And the message from Russia was very clear – they don't know anything about the energy ceasefire. It's a pity, because they always find reasons not to stop this war. Which is why I think we need more pressure on Russia.

Gas & coal plant outages in Texas are up 40% in the last 48 hours. Solar carried the day & batteries just set a new record at sunset. Gas plants are important energy resources but they struggle in extreme heat & cold. Better to have a diverse resource mix, as Texas does. 1/

After shooting a man in Minnesota, an ICE agent came to Texas. The Texas Rangers arrested and jailed him. Yet Greg Abbott continues to shirk his constitutional duty to approve extradition to Minnesota, where the alleged felony occurred.
This isn’t law and order; it’s lawlessness. Hopefully, a federal court will compel Abbott to fulfill his responsibility so that this agent cannot walk free next week and possibly flee the country.

DHS contractors are bulldozing Big Bend National Park. DHS is operating in total secrecy and waiving all laws. Now they’re unleashing permanent destruction on sacred land that belongs to all Texans and all Americans. Nobody here wants this. It’s tyranny.

BREAKING: DHS IS BULLDOZING THE MOUTH OF SANTA ELENA CANYON.
DHS waived every single environmental law, now they’re butchering the most iconic part of Texas’ crown jewel national park. All happening the day after a massive protest right here and on the morning CNN left. This is an indefensible attack on Texas’ natural heritage.

As Big Bend wall outcry builds, Paxton does not say whether construction should proceed.
The attorney general’s campaign said he wants strong border security that considers Big Bend’s “unique characteristics” — but did not say whether he supports building a wall there. bit.ly/4fUxk8T

God already built a wall through Big Bend — it's called the Chisos Mountains.
We don't need to give billions of our tax dollars to out of state vendors.
We don't need to desecrate this sacred land.
We don't need this useless, disgraceful, corrupt Big Bend border wall.

Recent reports reveal that Trump has ceded hundreds of thousands of acres of American land, including parts of Big Bend National Park, to Mexico.
The land is being ceded to make border wall construction easier.

Contractors are breaking ground on a $1.7 billion dollar project in Big Bend National Park that no one will talk about, despite the hefty price tag and the fact that illegal border crossing within BBNP accounts for 0.045% of Border Patrol apprehensions. bigbendsentinel.com/2026/08/…
