Yesterday, we held our first BB Virtual School Conference. A truly inspiring and heartwarming day! We’re immensely proud to strive for trauma-informed understanding to help our young people thrive. Huge thanks to all our amazing speakers & team!

We hosted a Trauma & Attachment training course on Friday…an incredible turn out by our wonderful school colleagues and great feedback!
Thank you for attending! ⭐ 🌈
A huge Happy New Year to all of our colleagues, schools and young people. We kicked off 2025 with a very productive team meeting focussing on in depth discussions about our service and the tweaks we can make to be as effective as possible ⭐️ 🤔 💭
We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at our annual staff awards! Celebrating all that is great about the staff who work tirelessly to support our children.
The wholesome clip below shows the importance and incredible impact that our dedicated school staff and teachers have on our children ❤️

A bit of a different team meeting 📅 today for the Virtual School. We were joined by the lovely Hayley Mills from our engagement and development team.
We had a thought provoking session, using Lego to explore our idea of what ‘care’ means to us and ‘thinking outside of the box’
Meet our Team! We are proud to introduce our growing team here at the Virtual School in Bedford Borough 🌈 ⭐️

How we talk about and to children and how they feel in response will shape the way they see themselves, others, and the world around them. #FlipTheNarrative
Our narratives about our CYP matter💯%. Medical, deficit focused language contributes to poor mental health & wellbeing for CYP & parents/carers. #FlipTheNarrative thinking is essential. Please RT & share. 🙏 @PookyH for brilliant visuals @SueReviews @DrChrisMooreEP @elly_chapple

ALT central picture of two eggs, one with a sad face, one with a happy face. On the side of the sad face - CK is a LAC with ASD. His emotional regulation is poor and attendance is 63%. He is low achieving. On the side of the happy face - Calvin is funny and kind. He's a brilliant big brother and a great goalie. He loves to draw and has a keen interest in dogs.
Happy Friday Everyone! We have been a bit quiet on here as I (Alison) have been on maternity leave! I am having a KIT day today so just catching up on things, 4 weeks until I return full time. Looking forward to working with all of our wonderful schools again :-)

On the last day of term we would like to wish all of our followers a very Merry Christmas. We hope you keep safe and spend some time with your loved ones. This term has been incredibly tough and I can't thank our schools enough for all they have done 🤗🎄

My final stop is with @CastleNewnham and meeting Federation Principal Mrs Wilkes. Whilst delivering the devices we chatted about both sites and how many of students work their way through the
school from 4-16 years of age #Tech4All #DigitalPoverty

Whilst chatting with staff, it was mentioned that, 'we are extremely grateful & the devices will have a massive impact to our students to carry on with their home learning. It's wonderful that people in the community are helping our school community' #Bedfordshire #DigitialDivide
