Our intern Samuel Donachie just hit a scientific and artistic peak! By shaping light through a multi-mode fiber using spatial light modulators, he wrote 'BBQ' by manipulating the spatial output point by point.
Who needs paint when you have photons? 🎨✨
BBQLab member Sophie Engineer recently gave a dazzling talk on her work at the Emergence of Classicality conference at Trinity College Dublin #EoC24. To find out more, check out our preprint! arxiv.org/abs/2403.18016
Our latest work was recently published in @PhysRevLett AND we made it to the cover!
We demonstrate qutrit operations simulating fusion and braiding properties of non-Abelian D(S_3) anyons INSIDE a multi-mode fiber. Thanks to @jenningsquantum @JPachos !
