Feeling so sad at the news of the death of Ed Stourton.
He was a very important figure for all of us on the daily news programmes on @BBCRadio4. One of those people you're really glad to have around. All substance, minimum ego, deeply knowledgeable, totally reliable.
And he was one of the nicest of colleagues as well. He'll be missed.

On Tuesday @Sarah_Montague spoke to Thomas Hand, whose 9-year-old daughter Emily was being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.
She has now been released and reunited with her father.
"I'm going to show her life, the world, more than I ever would have given in the past...I'm going to give her the world."
Thomas Hand is the father of 9 year old Emily, who was kidnapped from kibbutz Be'eri on 7th October.
He told @Sarah_Montague about his daughter.
