A delegation of BAF met Shri ThaawarChand Gehlot, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, today and submitted a follow-up representation on the Karnataka Apartment (Ownership and Management) Act, 2026 (KAOMA). BAF highlighted KAOMA’s relevance in securing apartment ownership, protecting common areas and ensuring accountable community governance. The Hon’ble Governor heard the representations and assured consideration of BAF’s inputs in the context of the clarifications sought from the Government of Karnataka. RERA protects the homebuyer through the development and conveyance journey; KAOMA governs the home and community for the decades that follow.
