About a third of the way through the @HHornetBaseball season. The bullpen has been 🔥for us! Last 5 games, @keithswanson_5 @jackson_beas @drew_patton18
@chase_brown12 have combined for 2R (0 ER) in 21 IP with a 0.113 BAA. Looking to continue this in SC over spring break.
Solid effort by Noah. Collected 4/5 lead off outs with over 66% strikes on the evening. Many more W’s in his future.
Got my first Varsity win last night on the mound for @HHornetBaseball - 5IP scattered 3 hits allowing 1R (0 earned) with 2 walks and 4K. Great team win 7-1 vs West Potomac for our 3rd win in a row at Spring Break VBCA HS Classic. @STARSBASEBALLVA
Good rally in B6 for @HHornetBaseball JV comeback win last night fueled by #HornetHero Bennett Shivers getting us a lead off base runner and some much needed energy.
Might have finally caught our breath from Wednesday night’s walk off win with 5 runs in the B7th for @HHornetBaseball JV. #HornetHero Noah Wickline got us going with a lead off pinch hit single and was battling in his 2nd AB when the winning run scored.
Down a level for @HHornetBaseball, JV wins 11-0 on opening night vs South Lakes. 4 strong innings on the mound for @jackson_beas, 2 doubles for Charlie Morgan, and #HornetHero of the game @casey_speak with 2H, 3RBI, plus 2 CS from behind the plate.
Spring baseball is here! Fit in a Carolina swing for CBB opening weekend. Saw @GWBaseball1 play in the Greenville “Jungle”. Crazy atmosphere at ECU. Also had the privilege to reconnect with TW during @WakeBaseball DH. Time to help make @HHornetBaseball better everyday. Let’s go!
While @HHornetBaseball prepares for their regional semifinal tomorrow night, 5 aspiring future Hornets squared off today in the finale of the 14U Kyle’s Kamp Memorial Day Tournament. Congrats to @VARenegadesBSBL on their victory over NOVA Wolfpack.
