I love teaching this class! Inflating the sheep's lungs was the students favorite part #healthscience #cte
Midway High School@MidwayHS7 Dec 2023
Pathophysiology students explored a sheep's respiratory system. They inflated & deflated lungs to understand how inhalation & exhalation works & how it would be in a disorder like asthma or COPD. They dissected the sheep pluck to study the trachea, bronchi & dissected the heart.

HOSA kicked off their first blood drive of the year. Despite several hiccups, they were able to not only meet, but exceed their goal. Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you to the officers for your hard work today! #savinglives

Pathophysiology students are learning about skin disorders. Today they recreated wounds and burns as part of their case scenarios. Lots of fun learning about wound complications, healing and treatment!
