I wanted to mention my thoughts on the use of generative AI to directly alter the art and pages of the manga. Even though I feel everyone should be allowed to celebrate their fandom in whatever way they choose, these quick edits really turn me off. For newer readers and people who are new to Azuki, it might be hard to distinguish between the authentic art and AI generations. These early days are an important time for a new manga to establish its visual identity and for readers to become familiar with the work as it was intended to be seen. I want to make sure that identity has the chance to take root clearly. I hope everyone can be mindful of this as they express their fandom online 🙏
