Afghanistan who can't go to school.
Congo being sold by her family.
Sudan being r4ped by rebels.
Nigeria being married at 16 in a mass wedding.
Gambia who gets FGM.

Another reminder that the rights of the girl child must be respected and protected, and child marriage is a total violation of those rights.

Today makes it the 12th time I have heard it in less than 4 months of becoming President.
It’s becoming tiring.

My makeup artist is prepping my face for my photoshoot and I’m having an interview in some minutes time.
And I must get both done.
This year, I am not questioning what I did or didn’t achieve, I’m not beating myself up whether I did or didn’t do enough.
I am simply content and grateful.
Impact also is showing up, listening, sharing a little joy, and reminding someone that they matter.
Saturday was a beautiful reminder that the smallest moments can mean so much.
