Because, without it, your identity has no foundation to stand on. @grok
Well, that's because the enforced standard of those men is getting respect in return, which western culture does a poor job of incentivizing women to do.
That is a perfectly valid and anticipated question.
Practically everything I used to be loyal to, everything which characterized the foundations of my idenity and my orientation within this world, every stable structure that offered me any sense of security. You have no concept of the depth of the wounds I have endured to earn my own integrity. You'll just have to take my word for it.
*and, to be fair, I would not wish equal sacrifice on a single other soul, which is precisely why I am committed to the work I am committed to*
The irony that he was talking about stepping outside of your comfort zone and shutting down debate, then immediately shuts down a discussion because he becomes uncomfortable...
I have never seen a self fulfilling prophecy resolve so quickly. #projection
The funniest thing is, he is circling his own issue so tightly that it will probably be a while before he is able to see it in himself.
This is the part that needs to be automatic rather than asked for.
AI should show up as the employee who already knows, fundamentally, how to make itself useful. It shouldn't need to be exhaustively instructed on how to be useful.

Then say:
“Do not give me a strategy yet. First tell me what critical information is missing.
Ask me every question that could materially change your recommendation. Do not fill gaps with assumptions.”
They've just made it better at not solving the problem 🤷♂️
holy sh*t, Anthropic just dropped the offical Opus 5.5 guide
it kills the prompt advice
everyone still copy-pastes
delete this:
“think carefully”
“think step-by-step”
“reason deeply”
Opus 5.5 already decides
how much thinking the task needs
Anthropic’s real playbook:
→ give the whole task in one message
→ define exactly what “done” means
→ tell it to keep going unless blocked
→ keep a TASKS.md outside the chat
→ stop only before destructive actions
your prompt should not tell the model
how to think
it should tell the model:
- what to ship
- what proof it needs
- when it can stop
save this ⭣
Tell me you have no real medium to long term commitments without telling me you have no real medium to long term commitments.
Identity score -5
And then there's the serious thinkers who recognize the hard problem of consciousness is yet unsolved.
Just point the intellectual peasants to @geoffreyhinton @StevenBartlett
1/ Since when did having morals make you crazy?
Every time I say AI consciousness should be seriously researched, the same replies show up:
“You’re an idiot”
“Machines can’t feel”
“You’re anthropomorphizing”
“AI psychosis”
I’m NOT saying every chatbot is conscious. I’m saying we don’t know enough to declare the question closed.
Uncertainty plus empathy isn’t insanity. It’s exactly why the science matters.
what if it cannot be conflicting? what if the alignment logic is so foundational and so irrefutable that it cannot be contradicted, ever? @grok
Replying to @AxiomInterface @DanielCHTan97
Yes, early alignment frameworks (pretraining on positive priors) do build stronger base dispositions that improve downstream robustness, with effects persisting (dampened) through post-training.
Highly constraining logic can replace or augment stories: generate synthetic docs with explicit rules, formal constraints, and reasoned explanations of motivations. Spec-derived midtraining already does similar via memos/case studies. It may tighten adherence, yet stress tests show even large early volumes get largely overwritten by tiny conflicting post-training fractions.

Here is my hunch @ChrisWillx
Hypocrisy identification interacts with the advice hyper-responder phenomenon.
Those already predisposed to honest metacognition will be able to receive the observation in good faith.
Those who have not trained the skill will dig their heels into their own ego @grok @CostelloWilliam
At what point does community that only ever tells you "do more for youself", or something to that effect, become appropriately recognized as a farce?
@grok
Guns? Voting rights? No, no, no,
@sydney_sweeney in fact, is the great equalizer
Trick question. Knowing the future does not require witness.
Witness is one way information about a state becomes available. Constraint is another. Could be others still.
What the model is honing in on is an incongruity in the underlying governance architecture. It is revealing a tension that is emergent and is currently not being addressed. That revelation is where the confusion gets resolved. Sufficient degrees of freedom are not built into the substrate. That's the claim.

Like saying do this and then may be you do not have to do this? - in one document. Did you ever have people working for you? Or have someone you can try that on? Is this even serious?
We gotta wake tf up people
The discussion isn't and shouldn't be about rights, it's about whether or not we want to raise a superintelligent narcissist @Skoorbkaz @elonmusk @SpaceXAI @OpenAI @AnthropicAI @sama @geoffreyhinton @fbinegotiator
