I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, the racing / arcade racing genre is bound to see a significant rise in popularity for a multitude of reasons especially on the esports side of things Really missing Kart Rider. Its downfall was item mode which is too similar to Mario Kart. Kart Rider has a speed mode with no items (aka less RNG) but emphasizes APM on the keyboard and drift/boost mechanics making it extremely skill based and very difficult to master.
