The thing truly keeping me back isn't my lack of skill or speed compared to AI and MCP, it's the lack of basic features in UEFN and Scene Graph @TimSweeneyEpic
Hey @FNCreate,
When are we going to see better mesh support in Scene Graph?
It's extremely frustrating that issues I raised years ago, like mantling and other movement mechanics not working properly with Scene Graph meshes, are STILL unresolved.
I've been working on a huge update for Color Drop, and it's incredibly disappointing to have my creative vision limited by issues that should have been addressed long ago.
Now I'm left with two options: rebuild my systems yet again or create redundant workarounds just to make basic functionality work as intended.
Honestly, it pisses me off that I'm still being forced to rely on Blueprints because Scene Graph can't handle some of the most basic functionality that creators need.
We're years into Scene Graph's development. At what point can we expect it to reliably support the fundamental mechanics required to build games without constantly working around its limitations?
If Scene Graph is the future of UEFN, let's stop carrying the limitations of the past into it.
LOVE the new Thrills & Chills callout games by @tomjank, @OuchCreative and @D3NNI_yt.
Congrats on the launch!
Use it on something useful like speeding up Scene Graph development please. The feature rollout is painfully slow.

Hi guys! I would like to share with all of you a bit sad news and even ask for support...
My wife, the person behind the @GelosGames_uefn account, Katy is in pretty urgent need of open abdominal surgery and because it was pre-existing condition our health insurance won't cover cost.
She was on very long back and forth checks and long wait list that her situation escalated and after we moved to Malaysia and did all tests now we got a whole picture of how serious it's.
There is even possibility that it could be cancerous, which only we know after surgery and we hope it isn't...
So if you would be able to support her... us... you can donate any amount you can on her Go Fund Me page gofundme.com/f/after-years-o… because in current situation we will struggle with surgery and post-surgery costs.
Please if you can share and like this post for visibility.
Thanks! 🙏

It would be so nice if we could easily preview a lobby background IN Fortnite.
I wanted to make sure the lobby background I made for our recent game looked good. The only way I could do that was by publishing an empty island.
When publishing there is a preview, not a great one.
Can they hire more devs for scene graph development because it's embarrassingly slow. Thank you.
Epic Games is hiring more devs for Fortnite's storyline, live events & cinematic trailers 👀
• Cinematics Director to create trailers with a focus on character-driven storytelling, humor & cinematic quality
• Principal Narrative Designer to develop storylines, dialogue & characters, and connect the story more closely with gameplay
• Senior Technical Artist to work on event visuals, including environments, lighting & effects
• Game Design (2027 Internship) to help build interactive gameplay for upcoming live events & coordinate it with cinematics

Just 3 design roadblocks I've run into to this month:
1. No physics support in Scene Graph - severely limited the design of a game we wanted to develop to the point we may scrap it entirely.
2. No socket data for Skeletal Mesh in Scene Graph. Pointless feature to ship without full socket control.
3. Partial collision detection in Scene Graph. Sweep hits only works with other entities. Cool, except 99% of fortnite is made up of BP Actors and Landscape Actors. Now what?
I only care about numbers, not screenshots of buried UI.
At FOADs current follower acquisition, a team with one of the highest played and most successful games in the eco-system, it would take approximately 26 years to reach 3 million followers.
Today we're shipping the first batch in a series of updates to Like, Save, and Follow. Players can now like, dislike, save, and follow from the in-game Overview tab, so they can follow you while they're still playing. Exit flow controls are clearer and easier to use too.
Up next—like and dislike on island details pages, like percentages on tiles, and more ways for players to save and follow. Still more to come here.

We’re changing course to give you more flexibility when creating UI elements with Sidekicks.
Starting today:
• You can import 2D images of official Sidekick renders into your project
• We’ll begin reversing previous rejections for Sidekicks used in 2D images
Looking ahead, we’re working on more ways to expand the authorized usage of provided IP in your islands.
Replying to @tioarthas
You can use Sidekicks and their available assets in UEFN. What isn’t supported right now is importing Sidekick images from outside UEFN, even Epic-made ones.
In the very near future, you won't even be able to market your game anymore, because if you do there will already be 1000's of clones made with AI spawned in Roblox, FN, and even on Steam.
Genuinley, how do you combat this?
Your critical thinking skills could use a boost. Let me help.
If Epic truly allows this, then the result a loss in value for 'Skin' purchases.
A loss in value on these purchases means Epic loses their main source of revenue, and thus, so does every single developer in the ecosystem. It would be catastrophic for Fortnite in general.
The only reason you dont care, is because it perhaps benefits *you* in particular at this current time, because you're a selfish narrow minded individual.

Everyone benefits from this the maps stopped being original a long time ago. and The truth is That nobody plays the original maps Instead of crying and posting tweets start doing the same thing
Is it time for @FNCreate to start handing out real punishments and sanctions for those that intentionally exploit the system and steal from Players and Developers?
Hey @FNCreate,
The Star Wars tab is being overrun by generic clone maps using the skin changing ability as a marketing gimmick.
If this feature is intended for authentic Star Wars experiences, it should only work with Star Wars characters.
This gives players a poor experience and sends a terrible message to creators who invested real time and effort into building genuine Star Wars experiences, only to have their work buried beneath low effort maps exploiting this feature for visibility.
Is this really what you want Discover to reward and showcase to players?
