the SoC is only what, 35% better? foveated rendering is gonna do a lot of the heavy lifting. optics are basically the same as the Q3 outside of eye tracking and FOV, PSVR2 users would prefer having OLED panels, and it'd be too expensive for 3S users even without the RAM crisis

again, if a larger battery didn't throw off the balance valve would have put one in there yesterday. they haven't, so it clearly does unless some third parties in china do some magic tricks.

i guess bro it’s not the best for my wallet at least and it is barely an upgrade to the Q3, it’s the best by barely being better i’m disappointed that i have to wait longer for an actual upgrade for me, if you have anything worse than a quest 3s or PSVR2 i can see the appeal

to me best headset optics-wise: Bigscreen Beyond 2 best headset price-wise: used/on sale PSVR2 + third party PC adapter best “jack of all trades”: quest 3 or 3S potential man the headset: steam frame, it could replace the quest 3 but who knows
