Look at the juxtaposition of these two pics. The govt. of Central African Republic (former "child soldiers" country) turned to @Awana for help. The Sec. of Edu. wants Awana in ALL of their elementary public schools. The pic on the right is a training that took place yesterday.

Discipleship in the children's wing of the church might be a little bit more fun than "adult church", but its spiritual impact is timeless, grounded in the gospel of Jesus. @c_neighbors Congratulations! The benefits of scripture memory knows no age. Thankful for you!

My @Awana crown from the 90’s. I think “Sparks” but could be “Chums”. One jewel short that year. I tried!

The message of the Gospel is living and active, and it’s being shared in spiritually persecuted countries by courageous brothers and sisters in Christ. We praise God that over 1.1 million kids are being discipled just in South Asia.

Discipling millions starts with one. Millions of children in the U.S. and around the globe silently wait for someone to show them that the love of Jesus is real and alive. Will you be the one to show them? donate.awana.org/start-with-…

"The secular vision of utopia is completely failing our children. Now is the time for the church to share the Gospel with clarity and urgency. The Gospel not only gives kids eternal hope, but also gives them a fulfilling vision to experience abundant life on earth.“ -Matt Markins
