The American Revolution is the clearest example of the selective memory at work. The Founders are celebrated as visionaries who understood that some conditions make revolution not just permissible but obligatory. They wrote this down. In detail. In a document that is treated as sacred. "When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government." Duty. They used the word duty. And then built a country that, over the next two and half centuries, made it its business to prevent exactly this principle from being applied by anyone else, anywhere, to any power the United States supported. The right to revolution is the founding document. The prevention of revolution is the foreign policy. Hold both of those in your mind at the same time and tell me what you see.

The youth get it But the questioner doesn't. He doesn't know he's been framed to accept that it's ok for the state & it's thugs to commit violence but not ok to fight back & defend yourself against the same Authority is the biggest inflictor of violence & always will be

The goal of orchestrated mass migration is to lower wages for the oligarchs who own the industries, it is not and has never been in the interest of the working classes. The 'solidarity' card is and has always been a lie. It also helps that mass migration destroys social bonds so people can be exploited more easily.

Paris looks like a war zone. What is the cause? The cost of living? Mass immigration? A mismanaged economy? Excessive spending on war? A crisis of political legitimacy caused by an unaccountable elite? Europe will likely be a very different place 10 years from now.

If this were Iran, or another "enemy" country, it would be the top story in every news outlet on the planet.

“What we are witnessing in France — and, in different forms, in many other European countries by now (Spain, Portugal, Albania, Belgium and, since yesterday, Italy too) — is anything but an irrational event. There are historical events that appear irrational only from close up, but which possess an evident rationality when viewed from a sufficient height. Rational does not mean painless, nor does it mean free of injustice. We must train ourselves to hold two levels of analysis together: one at which specific acts and specific individuals can be judged barbaric, uncivilised, vandalistic; and one at which we can (and must) understand that history is always a river carrying debris and corpses — but one that cannot be stopped by sermons. What is happening has an iron collective rationality, even if those taking part in it often have only a limited understanding of it, or none at all”. What is happening is the fault of psychopathic self titled rulers who work for a conglomerate of sociopaths, whose only offerings to their populations are mass theft by taxation, war, & euthanasia for anyone over 60 who doesn't die as a result of conscription to the Ukraine front
Pretty funny to see everyone blame this (rightly condemned, to be clear) on whatever their political bogeyman is: I've just seen people say that this is because of, take your pick, "communism," "Islamism," "third worldism," "Russia," and "China". As if France needed any outside help to riot... Maybe some people need to brush up on our history, or read Victor Hugo's "Les Misérables"... This isn't to romanticize the rioters in the least. A reminder that in Les Misérables there's the figure of Thénardier, a horrendous scoundrel who exploits the chaos around him, robbing corpses and fleecing anyone he can. Every chaotic moment in French history has its share of Thénardiers, and this one is no exception. It's just too easy, and actually useful to those in power, to blame this on outside forces. At the end of the day, this anger was made in France, is happening in France, and can only be solved in France. And, as painful as it is to hear, if one studies history, this is pretty much exactly what's expected at the stage France is at. People have studied this. Whether you take Ray Dalio’s six-stage cycle theory, Peter Turchin’s "elite overproduction" thesis or the Chinese dynastic cycle framework, they all come to the same conclusion: when debt piles up, public services crumble and those in power become incapable, the streets eventually explode. In fact it's almost eerie how France ticks almost every box of most cycle theories: - Fiscal distress (debt is 119% of GDP and we now pay more to borrow than Italy or Greece), - Crumbling public services: a reminder that these protests (now turning into riots) started with high school students protesting over the state of education - Political paralysis and a legitimacy crisis (Macron has an insane 82% disapproval rate, he's definitely lost the Mandate of Heaven...) - Popular immiseration with a record poverty rate at 15.4% and a median wage at only €2,190 net per month for a full-time private sector employee (you can't even afford to rent a decent flat in any major French city with this) "Third worldism" or "Islamism" isn't the cause of any of this: French governments didn't borrow like there's no tomorrow (the last balanced budget dates back to 1974!) because the "Muslim Brotherhood" told them to, and it wasn’t Putin or Xi who left French classrooms without teachers... Sadly the reactions - scapegoating - are ALSO typical of this stage of the cycle: Dalio lists among the classic markers of Stage 5 the emergence of "scapegoat classes who are commonly believed to be the source of the problems" (linkedin.com/pulse/delving-s…), alongside a "loss of truth in the public domain," with people more interested in hunting for culprits than looking for solutions. So what is the solution? Well, the way the Chinese dealt with it was basically a reset - regime-changing themselves with a new dynasty claiming the Mandate of Heaven, usually after decades of rebellion and war. Not exactly a hopeful prospect... There is also the exception where a dynasty managed what the Chinese call a 中兴 (zhōngxīng, "restoration"): profound reform from within before the whole house came down. It succeeded a few times (e.g. the Tongzhi restoration during the Qing dynasty) but usually could only buy a few more decades, rarely more. In 1945, the writer Huang Yanpei famously asked Mao how to break free of the cycle (cn.vlex.com/vid/constitution…), framing it in those terms: "People are careful and hard-working at first, for bold measures are the only possible ways to break through difficult conditions. But when things gradually get better, people begin slacking off: laziness may spread through a long history and is impossible to be corrected when it becomes a common practice. Gradually expanded territory requires corresponding increases in talent, but when the latter is insufficient, the central control will become weak. In a word, no one can escape the 'vicious cycle' of dynastic rise and collapse." Mao replied that democracy was the answer, because "as long as the people can supervise the government, the government dare not slacken." And Xi later added a "second answer" (chinadailyhk.com/hk/article/…): a system capable of "resolute self-reform". The jury is still out on whether China has broken the cycle, but if France has any hope of escaping it, it will need both answers at once: a government that truly answers to its people, and very resolute self-reform. One thing the answer definitely isn’t: turning on each other. In all these cycle theories, division and scapegoating appear on the way down, never on the way back up.

Not one more penny! Our so called government and public servants are totally illegitimate as they cannot do anything for the betterment of this nation or it's citizens, and instead spaff millions on this hideous and unnecessary war
The war will cost 155 billion euros next year. And we need at least 70 billion euros more from you – for defense, for weapons, and for our resilience. This is a realistic amount. And I ask you to find this support. It will help us hold Russia back. There are some very simple facts. We stop most Russian assaults on the front line thanks to drones. We cut Russian supply lines with these technologies. And our drones are helping to weaken Russia’s economy. Right now, we could produce two or three times more drones – depending on the type. But we simply don’t have enough money for that. It’s true. Just imagine if we could put two or three times more pressure on Russia than we do today. From an address to the participants of the European Council meeting. (4/5)

Yes it's really true DSM-firmenich, the Swiss-Dutch company that manufactures Bovaer, is also a producer of synthetic folic acid, which will of course be added to all non wholemeal flour by virtue of "the government's" mandatory fortification rules starting in December 2026
Replying to @AwakenedOf
The company that made Bovaer are now manufacturing FOLIC ACID..... Couldn't make it up.......

Zelenskyy the fraud is finally being found out. Where is the full record of the £25 BILLION of British taxpayers money that both Labour and the Conservatives have handed over since 2022 with almost no scrutiny? Ukraine has long been one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Our weak leaders have let us be taken for fools while Britain’s standing collapses. All funding must stop immediately.

"In the next few years we may face a war...we will need people who will join the armed services and who will go out and do their duty... people have to die to save their country as they did in the First and Second World Wars.” ~ Jacob Rees-Mogg As always, it’s the pompous politicians who bang the drum of war, while sitting in their luxurious ivory towers, comfortably away from the line of fire while demanding the sacrifice of the lives of thousands of young people.
