So many people getting caught out by Goldcar! If you’ve HAD to book with them DO NOT, DO NOT sign the ePad without seeing the contract first. They’ll add insurance you may not need.

I am disgusted with Goldcar car rental, they have no need to inform me of a speeding fine incurred in France as the French authorities do this automatically - it is simply their way of extracting a 50 euro admin charge on my card after 4 months! non existent customer service.

Total #defrauding of customers by @goldcarcares Goldcar Rental. Received the car with lots of damages, signaled it to the rental agent and took photos. After returning the car they insist on charging me for the damages as the agent did not “save any record” of my damage report.

@goldcarcares l would advise people not to use Goldcar. Whilst they are often the cheapest Car rental company they are prone to making bogus charges for fuel and minor marks etc. But the worst thing is that they have no complaints mechanism or means of dispute resolution.
