Another incredible @MidnightNtwrk developer event completed in Udaipur. This time, we went beyond the usual workshop format and focused entirely on practical, hands-on learning for a beginner audience.
With 60+ developers in one room, we took participants through the complete journey of building on Midnight, starting from the fundamentals of GitHub and developer workflows and gradually moving toward creating a fully functional privacy-focused application on @MidnightNtwrk .
The process was simple and completely build-oriented:
participants started by coming up with an idea around privacy, learned the core concepts of Midnight, used MidSkills to understand and build their applications, went through the code to understand what they were actually building, and finally used GitHub to publish their projects as open-source repositories under Midnight tags.
The entire flow was designed around learning by building:
→ Start with a privacy-focused idea ( Thinking )
→ Understand how Midnight works ( Theory )
→ Use @Midnight_Skills to accelerate development ( AI Usage )
→ Break down and understand the code ( Coding )
→ Use @github to collaborate and publish the project
→ Open-source the final application under Midnight
By the first phase, we had 12–15+ projects completed, with several interesting ideas coming directly from the participants. The focus was not just on following a tutorial, but on understanding the concepts, writing the code, using modern development workflows, and taking an idea all the way to a publicly available open-source application.
60+ developers, one room, real projects, and a strong first phase of building on Midnight. The next generation of Midnight builders is already getting started.

Team1 India Weekly Recap 🔺
Here’s what happened across the Avalanche ecosystem last week.
🔺 @MorganKrupetsky explained how Avalanche partners helped businesses cut costs, increase efficiency, enter new markets, and unlock new revenue opportunities through blockchain.
🔺 @BJirousek of @cavs shared how the Cleveland Cavaliers built on Avalanche to keep fans connected beyond Rocket Arena. Through Cavs Rewards, everyday purchases became rewards such as game tickets, VIP experiences, merchandise, memorabilia, and digital achievements.
🔺 @AvalancheFDN introduced Gross Chain Income (GCI), extending the GCP framework to measure new sources of value across the Avalanche economy and providing a way to track blockchain-driven economic activity.
🔺 RWAs continued growing on Avalanche, with 30-day transfer volume reaching $365.29M, up 360.15% from the previous 30 days. Tokenized funds, equities, treasuries, and private credit all contributed to the growing activity across the ecosystem.
🔺 @DinariGlobal opened access to 724 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs for eligible U.S. investors, including the entire S&P 500. Trades settled on Dinari’s Avalanche L1.
🔺 Team1 called builders to @ProtocolCamp Cohort 10, bringing top builders together for 12 weeks to turn ideas into shipped products. ProtocolCamp covered travel expenses, with the cohort kicking off during Korea Blockchain Week.
🔺 Hyderabad and Vadodara brought builders together to ship on Avalanche. Participants deployed smart contracts, explored Avalanche L1 development, and moved from learning directly into building. Team1 continued supporting builders through hands-on community programs and Builders Connect.
