Prominent pro-Palestine and climate activist Greta Thunberg voiced her support for French students protesting across France.
“I’m incredibly proud of the French students. Young people all over the world, especially in France, are leading by example… What do you expect young people to do? Of course we are going to revolt,” Thunberg said.
“Politicians are meeting it as if it’s something unexpected or as if young people are destroying things, which just shows they are living in a completely different reality,” she added.
Shortly after she said this, the protests turned violent, with widespread rioting and looting taking place across the country.
Historic buildings, such as Limoges Town Hall, were set alight.
The violence has now even spread to other countries, such as Italy, where second- and third-generation migrants are engaging in violent clashes with police.

A French left-wing activist mocked those whose livelihoods had been destroyed by violent rioters and looters over the past few days.
“Your little shops, that’s real cute,” said Lola-Fleur Whittaker, who defended the rioters during a French television debate.
Whittaker tried to draw sympathy, stating that her mother is an English teacher who eats cookies for lunch because she can't “pay for the cafeteria.”
However, online users quickly found Whittaker’s social media profiles, where she posts pictures of herself vacationing in places like Oman, the island of Ré, Sicily, the Greek islands, Malaysia, and Egypt.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Manchester, and she offers French lessons for €53 per 50-minute lesson on the platform Preply, where she has already taught 1,709 classes.

🚨 NEW: For the @WSJ, @Hartz_PhD and I expose the ideological takeover of the American Psychological Association.
The APA is facing the possible loss of its federal accreditation authority following allegations of widespread antisemitism.
But while the APA's antisemitism problem is serious, it's only a symptom of a much deeper ideological rot.
The organization has become so captured by radical left-wing political activism that its commitment to scientific objectivity competence is now in serious doubt.
We examined the program for this year's major APA Division 39 conference, which drew nearly 800 attendees and held 90 panels over four days.
By our count, roughly 70 of the 90 panels were overtly political, and always left-wing. Topics included abolishing the family, queer anarchist psychoanalysis, dismantling gender assessment guidelines, and white supremacy. One session even concluded with a drag show.
There was at least some hope that the threat of losing federal accreditation might prompt some institutional soul-searching. It didn't.
Instead, APA members just elected Candice Hargons as their next president. Her campaign identifies "systemic intersectional oppression" as the profession's "common enemy" and calls for rejecting the traditional scientific notions of objectivity.
Psychologists wield enormous influence over vulnerable patients, and the people seeking treatment deserve the peace of mind knowing that the care they're receiving care is evidence based and not tainted radical politics.
We believe most would agree that federal accreditation should actually mean something. If the APA cannot distinguish its scientific mission from its political activism, the Education Department should reconsider whether it deserves the government's endorsement as an authority over psychological training.

Elon Musk: "The neighboring countries, many times in Israel, have tried to annihilate Israel. Not once, multiple times. In Israel, they realize if you let in the people that want to kill Israelis, they will do so."

Given that the French-speaking world gave us the science of semiotics, they would be the first to recognise that the Palestine flag, as it is being hoisted and brandished across the French republic at the moment, has come to signify something far more than the aspirant state of Palestine.
You don't have to be Ferdinand de Saussure to appreciate that this signifier has become unmoored from its original meaning.
You don't have to be Roland Barthes to see that this emblem has now assumed a wholly mutated significance: in short, it has become an all-encompassing symbol to denote hatred of the West and of European civilisation.

🇫🇷 French social media is flooded with edits praising Iran’s Islamic regime and calling for an “Islamic revolution in France”
Second- and third-generation French migrants are mass-posting memes featuring Ayatollah Khomeini. Using AI, they translated his 1979 speech, promising free water, electricity, and bus rides, from Persian into French.
He gave it on February 1, 1979, at Behesht-e Zahra after returning from exile in Paris: “We will make water and electricity free for the poor. We will make bus travel free…”
Interesting fact: Those social and economic promises were never kept. The speech itself became the main symbol of the Islamic regime’s false promises, serving as brainwashing propaganda.
