Avery Council a strong and shifty lead guard primed for a huge season with Cats Prep. The Rochester NY native is crafty with the ball, a vocal leader and sets his teammates up well

An extensive but not exhaustive list of players who played well on Day 1 of the @NEPSAC Scholastic Live Period Showcase at Worcester Academy.

My take on Day 1 @NEPSAC live period showcase standouts. There are players who played very well Friday who aren’t on this list. The main reason for that: there’s only one of me.
After a great conversation with Coach Christian and staff, I’m blessed to receive my first division 1 offer to Bryant University

Avery Council was solid for City Rocks EYCL 17u squad.
Very strong and athletic, can shoot and looks to get teammates involved. His impact on the game is much more than what stat sheets show.
An underrated part of his game is his ability to receive the ball in the post and finish over smaller guards.

@AveryCouncil is an athletic guard that plays above the rim & can score from all 3 levels. Avery is a good passer and makes his teammates better. Ultimate competitor that defends & not afraid to take the winning shot.
