Definitely an irony in everyone complaining about the air quality just before the big patriotic holiday where we shoot off fireworks and subsequently ruin the air quality

My sustainability class just finished a module about disinformation. I had them write me a letter assuming they were flunking and arguing that they deserve an A, using the techniques of disinformation we discussed, like cherry picking, false experts and ad hominem. HOO-boy. 1/n

When I lived at Clive Booth in 2014 there was a massive massive rat problem and when we complained and asked for rent reductions they ignored us and then slipped unmarked envelopes of vouchers for the on-campus dining hall under all our doors 🫠

My roommate is mad at me because I keep saying “That’s where WE are!” Every time the Super Bowl announcers say “Philadelphia”

I am in search of water education games and activities for kids K-8! Anything that educates on water quality, conservation, hydrologic cycle, wastewater, etc etc counts. Looking for stuff that can be done in groups of 15 with kids who need some extra attention/structure.

Grew up with this entire set as our main dinnerware and never noticed the tiny cat! My mom loves this pattern.
Look at these plates I found at the thrift store.

Just got my mom’s annual Christmas letter, a bit late (par for the course for my family). In it she has described me as “working on my PhD in Behavioral Anthropology” (???) and told everyone I am “defending my thesis in February” (???!!!!) 😂😂😂

🚨A former employer has advertised an “encounter” w/ a privately-owned (illegal) ring-tailed lemur for their NYE Party. After sharing my concerns privately w/AC Dir, I was told all agreed and “no lemur at the party!” Now, they blocked me on IG & continue to advertise encounter

I am trying to determine what best course of action is here. Calling animal control isn’t likely to result in anything in this case. CEO is well known for evading legal ramifications for things. It makes me so so so mad. In pictures, the lemur is wearing a diaper.

Not even totally sure the lemur is actually “privately owned” by legal PA standards- owner is not affiliated with the museum and may have her own menagerie permits or something- she has a lot of animals. But a ring-tail seems like it MUST have some legal limits?????
