If I were to venture a guess as to how this is gonna go timeline wise, Iโd say.
With an 18 months: we see this implemented on one of the tiers of Xbox game pass for a popular game l, it will receive a lot of pushback
Shortly after that: there will be some free game that goes into market that everyone really enjoys playing and builds its revenue model off of this technology, there will be less pushback, and it will be looked at as a new monetization strategy for developers
Within the next 3 1/2 to 4 years: this will likely be normalized as the standard โnon-premium tierโ cloud, gaming experience experiences
Or it stays a patent and goes nowhere ๐คฃ interesting times ahead
