I did a feature on EV tuning in @AutoVoltMag earlier this year, and interviewed @NewElectricIRL about their conversions. They’re using Toyota/Lexus hybrid transmissions, without the ICE, adding larger batteries and fast charging. Big power, relatively low cost.

Yes, you're right: most (if not all) Euro EVs are Type 2 AC ('Mennekes') sockets/plugs with CCS for DC rapid charging. If you've a @ReadlyGlobal or @mobilemagzter subscription, @AutoVoltMag has 'explainer' sections at the back on #EV chargers and charging.
