Apple has broken aria-describedby #a11y in Safari for form <input> controls! The aria-describedby text is no longer announced!
It works on a <button> still but now it adds the word "description" before speaking the aria-describedby value.

I'm looking for a volunteer to co-maintain a11ysupport.io. I just haven't been able to devote enough time to it. Responsibilities: help craft expectations for features, add new tests, keep test results updated, and manage contributions/issues.

I don't believe that form input validity is boolean. There should be at least 3 states:

I've seen this language get credited to various Code of Conduct teams at various times as it's spread around the web.
I'm the original author of it, and it first appeared in the Geek Feminism Code of Conduct.

ALT The Geek Feminism community prioritizes marginalized people’s safety over privileged people’s comfort. The Geek Feminism Anti-Abuse Team will not act on complaints regarding: - ‘Reverse’ -isms, including ‘reverse racism,’ ‘reverse sexism,’ and ‘cisphobia’ (because these things don’t exist) - Reasonable communication of boundaries, such as “leave me alone,” “go away,” or “I’m not discussing this with you.” - Refusal to explain or debate social justice concepts - Communicating in a ‘tone’ you don’t find congenial. - Criticizing racist, sexist, cissexist, or otherwise oppressive behavior or assumptions
